Thank you!! We'll be entering our gray months all too soon; I'll have to keep posting sunny, blue sky photos through the next couple seasons. I'd be so happy to see your garden progress!

This was absolutely wonderful! Jane Austen, agrarian traditions, celestial events, bees, *plus* a Downton Abbey meme—it had “all the feels”!!!

I *completely* agree about the Emma movie—we really love the Kate Beckinsale version.

I’m so happy for your successful beekeeping this past summer! I love learning about it—and so interesting the way a hive can “hide” their queen.

Your garden pics keep me inspired! I have followed your example of having lots of flowers in the food garden, and have plans for many more next season. 😊 Thank you for sharing your garden!!

I'm so glad you're enjoying flowers among the food plants! Thank you for following our garden adventures so faithfully.

🙌to a fellow Beckinsale Emma fan 🌹

My unintended takeover of the beekeeping has brought me more joy than I imagined. The bees are so fascinating; millions of years of their social systems playing out in our yard.

You’re welcome! Your posts are always such a pleasure 😊

I agree, bees are fascinating! It’s so interesting that so many wild creatures we might think of as “dumb animals” have these intricate behaviors and ways of communicating. I look forward to your continuing adventures with bees!

I thought this would be the week for me to begin my Autumn sowing as the temps dipped down to the 90s for several days, but we'll be going back up into the hundreds, so I'm still holding off.

I love seeing all that you've accomplished! And you're expanding your bee colonies, which is amazing 👏 👏👏

Ugh, that sounds really hot! It was still up near 90 degrees here until the past couple days, & I was starting to regret our decision not to replace our A/C. I hope you have good gardening weather soon!

I'm equally amazed at the bee colony multiplication here. Thank you for reading!
